Unique taste dish, which comes from our hearts the American South, New Orleans


Duration: Approximately 40 minutes
Ingredients
1 bag (125 gr.) rice

4 slices bacon

1 cup chopped onion

2 cloves chopped garlic and chopped

1 jar tomato sauce

250 gr. chopped ham

400 gr. shrimp purified

1 tea cup chicken broth

1 yellow pepper cut into strips

1 green pepper cut into strips

fresh fennel

Few drops Tabasco

Salt

Pepper

Directions
In a large non skillet, bacon heat without oil. When you remove the fry and keep aside. Add to the pan the onion and garlic, then cook for 5 minutes then add the tomato sauce and thyme. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the rice for 10 minutes, the chicken broth, ham and bacon. Mix well, cover the dish and bake in pre-warmed to 180 C oven for 10 minutes.

Finally add the prawns, sweet peppers and Tabasco, mix and cook for another 10 minutes in the oven. Serving hot and have the fragrance of New Orleans in the plate.
